One of the more interesting projects our team has been involved in was the Clean to Shell (CTS) project at MSD’s facility in Swords.
The original API manufacturing plant was being stripped back and prepared for disposal before MSD ultimately decided to retain and redevelop the site into what has since become the MSD Biologics campus.
The project required access solutions throughout the decommissioning process, allowing multiple trades to safely carry out demolition, stripping and preparation works.
Projects like this highlight how scaffolding often forms part of a much bigger story. Long before new facilities are built, somebody has to provide safe access to prepare the site.
